For 457 apprentices in technical and non-technical trades at its locations under its 5 regions—Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), and Southeastern Region Pipelines (SERPL)—Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) (Pipelines Division) is accepting online applications from eligible Indian nationals. This is in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time). the merit list-based selection process. Neither a written exam nor an in-person interview is required.

Apprentice Age Limit for IOCL Pipeline Division: (as of 28/02/2025)

The minimum age is eighteen.
The maximum age is twenty-four.
For SC/ST, the upper age relaxation is five years; for OBC (NCL), it is three years; and for PwBD, it is ten years.

Apprentice Salary at the IOCL Pipeline Division:

The Apprentices Act, 1961/1973; the Apprentices Rules, 1992/2019, as amended from time to time; and the Corporation's rules all govern the stipend rate.

Qualifications for Apprentices in the IOCL Pipeline Division:

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical):

three years of full-time training in any of the engineering specialties listed below: automobile engineering (ii) and mechanical engineering (ii).

Apprentice Electrical Technician:

03-year full-time diploma in any of the following disciplines of engineering: i) Electrical Engineering, ii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Apprentice Technician in Instrumentation and Telecommunication:

i) Electronics & Communication Engineering,

ii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering,

iii) Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering,

iv) Instrumentation & Control Engineering,

v) Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering, and

vi) Electronics Engineering are all three-year full-time diploma programs in engineering.

Trade Apprentice (Human Resources Assistant):

Bachelor's degree (graduation), full-time.

Apprentice in Trade (Accountant):

a full-time bachelor's degree in commerce.

Operator of Data Entry (New Apprentices):

Matric and a 12th-grade pass are required, but not graduates.

Operators of Domestic Data Entry (holding a Skill Certificate):

Matric and a 12th-grade pass are required, but not graduates.

Selection Procedure for Apprentices in the IOCL Pipeline Division:

Application Fee for COH Gujarat Staff Nurse:

700/- for candidates in the general or OBC categories.
For candidates in the SC, ST, and PwBD categories, there is no charge.

To apply for IOCL Apprentice 2025, eligible and willing candidates must register online as technicians, tradespeople, or graduate apprentices using the portals listed below, according to their respective states:

1) Trade Apprentice: Register at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in as a data entry operator (for fresher apprentices) or domestic data entry operator (skill certificate holders).

2) Technician Apprentice: nats.education.gov.in (Mechanical/Electrical/Telecommunication & Instrumentation).

3) Trade Apprentice at nats.education.gov.in (Assistant-Human Resource/Accountant).
