Eligibility Criteria of SSC CGL Recruitment 2025:

Limit of Age (as on 1 Aug 2025):

The age limit should be less than 18 and not more than 32 years. The age limit has been kept different, according to the posts. The age limit will be assessed as of 1st August 2025.

Age limit relaxation:

5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (unreserved), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and 3 years after military service deduction for ESM. 40 years of relaxation for central government employees (45 years for SC/ST), up to 35 years for widows and divorced women (40 years for SC/ST).

Salary for SSC CGL Recruitment 2025:

The SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 pay scale will apply from Pay Level 4 to Pay Level 7.

Educational Qualification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2025:

Junior Statistical Officer: A junior statistical officer must have a bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks in mathematics in class 12 or statistics as a degree subject.
Statistical Investigator Grade III must have a bachelor's degree in statistics in all parts/semesters.
All other posts: All other posts must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Final-year undergraduate students can apply, but they must complete their degree before 1st August 2025.
Degrees obtained through open and distance learning modes are valid if approved by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC.

Selection Process for SSC CGL Recruitment 2025:

Tier. Tier-I (Computer-Based Exam): It will be an objective-type exam (August 13–August 30, 2025) covering general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension.

Tier II (Computer-Based Exam): It will be an objective-type exam (December 2025) covering modules on mathematical abilities, reasoning, English, general studies, and data entry skills (for specific posts).

Document Verification: Verification of educational, caste, EWS, PwBD, and other certificates will be done.

The final merit based on Tier-I and Tier-II scores will be subject to post-specific requirements (e.g., physical/medical tests).

Application Fee for SSC CGL Recruitment Exam 2025:

The fee is ₹100/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
There is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/female candidates.
Eligible candidates can also pay through online mode (credit/debit card, UPI, and net banking).

Eligible candidates can fill out the online application form through the official website of SSC (ssc.in) from 09/06/2025 to 04/07/2025 (23:00).
Read the official notification given about the application form carefully, and then start the process of registration.
Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR), fill in personal, educational, and post preference details, and upload scanned photographs, signatures, certificates, etc., on the website.
You can correct the application during the correction window (09/07/2025 - 11/07/2025).
