RRB ALP Maximum Age:

18–30 years old as of July 1, 2025.
According to government regulations, the upper age relaxation is three years for OBC NCL and five years for SC/ST.

Qualifications:

(A) Completing matriculation or SSLC plus ITI from accredited NCVT/SCVT institutions in the following trades: fitter, electrician, instrument mechanic, millwright/maintenance mechanic, radio & TV mechanic, electronics mechanic, motor vehicle mechanic, wireman, tractor mechanic, armature & coil winder, diesel mechanic, heat engine mechanic, turner, machinist, and refrigeration & air conditioning mechanic. (B) Completion of an Act Apprenticeship in a relevant trade or matriculation or SSLC plus course

(C) In lieu of ITI, a three-year diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or automobile engineering (OR) or a combination of these engineering streams from an accredited institution is equivalent to matriculation or SSLC.
